Hinged Bridgeplates - Jan 2010
An alcoholic drinks manufacturer/distributor had a requirement to replace their existing higed bridgeplates on their loading bays at one of their depots.
In this instance a manual hinged bridgeplate was recommended, though unlike ‘standard’ bridgeplates, these were fitted with piano type hinges for a smoother transition with pallet trucks.
The bridgeplates are used to load kegs and boxes into a variety of box vans and small lorrys, using pallet trucks.
The final solution involved us removing existing equipment, and replacing with new, one loading bay at a time to reduce down time.
