This client was unloading vehicles using a telescopic boom conveyor (operating from ground level) but had no means of accessing the vehicle bed to allow the operatives to work safely.
Very limited space constraints, and a roller-shutter door closing in front of the conveyor meant that any thing in-front of the conveyor had to be manoeuvrable by hand, and stored either side.
Thorworlds solution was a platform/steps system which splits down the middle allowing storage in 2 parts, either side of the conveyor. The two parts locate together with a locking pin to prevent separation. Wind down wheels allow the platform to rest firmly on the ground when in use, but are easily moved by hand when required.
