Dock Bumper Supports

Product Details

Situations occur where standard moulded dock bumpers are not thick enough for the applications required. In these situations a 'spacer' or 'packer' is the answer.
Thorworld offer two products to support bumpers away from dock edge and one product to raise the bumper up above the dock.
To support away from the dock, we offer painted hardwood packers up to 150mm thick (model W), for anything thicker it is necessary to provide another means of fixing the dock bumper to the dock and achieving the correct pack thickness, this is achieved by using Thor Steel Bumper supports (model S).
A problem seldom considered, is how to stop vehicles that are higher than the loading dock. This can be achieved by using a reinforced steel support bracket (model A) to raise the bumper up, which allows up to 30% of the bumpers length to be positioned above the dock.
